Eligibility Our primary focus is on applicants who are steadily employed who experience a temporary financial emergency or need that cannot be funded by other public or private sources. Unemployed applicants who have a steady work history and are receiving unemployment insurance, worker’s compensation, or short term disability benefits may also qualify.
Those seeking assistance need to reside in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster or part of Pike Counties, the readership area of the Times Herald-Record. Such request is made with a Fund Application, supported by required documentation. To request help, the People For People Fund requires that an application be completed to be considered for assistance.
